Made the schoolboy mistake of going to the first place when arriving onto the beach. We ordered drinks. A beer and a fruit smoothie. My beer came in a plastic cup which was half full and a little flat...seems like I had the remainder of a previously opened Pilsen. The mango smoothie was from concentrate but drinkable. As we wanted... More

This was a great place to grab breakfast on the beach. Not too expensive, just a solid, tasty, tipico breakfast with a great view.

We ate here several times this week, for breakfast and lunch. Good quality, simple food, at a very reasonable price, and right on the beach. Friendly staff, who took the time to let my children practice their Spanish while ordering, and gave them candy treats on the way out. Highly recommended!

The vegan casado vegetariano is super delicious and fresh, so is the gallo pinto with platanos maduros for breakfast. The staff is very nice too. And the view is awesome! I don't think they're open for dinner, but I know they open at 7am for breakfast.

If you want to get a cheap but high quality meal in Playa Samara, Sheriff Rustic is the place to go. We came here for breakfast and lunch (separate days) because it was so good. There's not much better than not having to wear shoes at a restaurant on the beach with a fresh smoothie and a succulent casado with... More

We started going to lunch at Sheriff Rustic because it's behind Choco's Surf School. We went back because it offers great value, tasty food, and the opportunity to look at the ocean under the shade of a big tree. It's one of the view beachfront places that offer the traditional casada (combination of a meat or fish together with rice,... More

We ate here on New Year's Eve, it being the first place we found that wasn't fully booked for dinner. The menu is pretty simple, but fresh and well made. We ordered the beef tenderloin with fries and salad, and the chicken with fries and salad. Both were delivered to the table promptly and piping hot, by polite and efficient... More

Had Casado for lunch, handy location right on the beach and good food with reasonable prices. The Casado is a full meal, they also have hot dogs and more "fast" food.

This was one of our favorite places to get Casado. The fish was so delicious! Cannot beat the view--it's right on the beach. Fun neighborhood dogs frequently came and hung out as well.. :)

All of our first choices were not yet open for the season, but the view at this place made up for it. The veggie casado was the best we had all week
