I think this is THE place to go when you are really hungry! This place is designed to accommodate large tour groups during the day, but it is rarely crowded at night, which is when I go.

I had a fried red snapper with salad, it was delicious! My wife had lomo in caribeno sauce, and my son had fettuccine alfredo. It was all excellent, big portion as well.

Went on someone's recommendation and was very disappointed with the food. Average Caribbean food, menu choices not varied enough, plus the wait for food was long, especially with hardly anyone in the restaurant. Best part of the meal was the local band playing great music, which helped with the loud road noise from all the passing trucks. This restaurant seems... More

We had both lunch and dinner at this restaurant and were not disappointed either time. We had shrimp and battered fish - both tasty. We love open-air restaurants and this one was right off the main road, easy to spot and easy to access. Tables and chairs are made out of beautiful wood found in Costa Rica. Service was excellent,... I found this place by accident - I turned the wrong way down the street while looking for the nearby little supermarket - and I was so glad I did! Not only was the food I had there both times delicious and decently priced, what really made this place stand out was the EXCELLENT service I had both times! All... More

If within 20 miles of Talamanca, do your tummy a flavorful favor by treating it to a plate of delish fish and a tall glass (just like from the old soda fountain days) of pure liquified pineapple. Wood tables and chairs and open to breeze as local friends of the owners, chefs and wait staff honk when passing by. Excellent... More

We went on a guided snorkel trip in Cahuita. It was fantastic. We organised it at the park entrance. It cost $25 per person for a 2 stop boat trip with guide. We saw several basking shark. Beautiful small fishes , Rays , blow fish and magnificent coral. We then had fresh pineapple non the beach.

We walked to this open-air restaurant and, because the tables were filled with Tico families, we expected a good Costa Rican meal. My partner was satisfied with his seafood platter, as it contained mussels, little crabs, and bits of fish in a savory sauce, but I was very disappointed with my meal. I'd ordered fish with salsa, rice and vegetables.... More
