My host CApt. Rocket pulled me in here day one, daily visits after that tell the story. The baked goods are top notch fresh and deliciouse, great pasties, or empanadas or whatever your culture calls crescents of filled dough baked off to crusty perfection, sweet or savory and as a bonus the typically warm and helpful Costa Rican staff were... We were on a private tour that started before our hotel opened for breakfast. My girlfriend asked our guide if we could stop for breakfast en route, and much to our delight, he said that he'd take us to "where all the locals eat." The fact that it was a bakery was an unexpected plus. The food we ate was... More

A fantastic find. This establishment offered a variety of baked goods at reasonable prices. There was seating so that you could enjoy a coffee or soda with your purchase and watch the people go by on the main street. staff were helpful and friendly. There was also limited parking out front which was great as parking at times is a... More

If the number of people stopping by is a good indication, this bakery is the best in Jaco, looks like always busy...we got our bread there almost every day, always nice and fresh

love the media lunas. I also bought a cake for my son's birthday and it was delicious. They also have coffee and empanadas, pineapple upside down cake and cinnamon rolls. Sit down area open from 6 am to 10 pm.

Went here most nights after dinner. I loved the chocolate almond cake and my son loved the tres leches. Most treats are around 700 colons and they are great, or you can get your desert at the restaurant for 2500 colons. The staff here is also friendly. If you are in Jaco and looking for a treat, I highly recommend... More

Pachi's has an astounding assortment of good to partake. Located right across the street from the grocery store and bank. You're able to buy some morning breakfast pastries and coffee, and there is a array of tables to sit and enjoy. They offer sweet treats and cheesy treats as well as breads. They have a good selection of empanadas for... More

My AirBnB host and I went to Jaco to do some shopping. He took me to Panchi's for their absolutely delicious empanadas. Wonderful, warm and filling lunchtime treat at less than US$2. While in Panchi's, as a somewhat "dumb" tourist, I managed to drop 20mil colones on the floor when I reached in my pocket. A friendly Panchi's employee gently... More
