this is a small, unpretentious place that is also very welcoming and great for people watching. their coffee is great and it's the only place i've found in CR that knows how to make a proper iced americano.

If you are looking for Costa Rican coffee- this is the place to go. They sell their BOHIO roast (we bought several) and enjoyed the fresh ground and fresh brewed version of the Red Honey.

Stopped in here while walking down the main street in Jaco and ordered the Coffee Bohio (I think that was the name?). It was a cold brewed coffee with coconut milk and sugar and it was the perfectly refreshing energizing beverage for a hot sunny afternoon.

Great coffee, didn't try any snacks, but can definitely give it five stars in the country of excellent coffee. We liked it so much, we bought a couple pound bags at Mas por menos to bring home

Cafe Bohio has a really awesome mocha and their coffee's are delicious (try the red honey!) I was there everyday for the past week and couldn't get enough. They changed up their menu a bit since the last time I was there to accommodate all locally grown ingredients which I totally support. The drinks are great and it's a lot... More

What can I say, from the coffee to the foam to the atmosphere and service - incredible! We visited in the morning around 7:30am which was wonderful as we are early risers + dislike waiting until 9/10 for cafes to open. Gotta get that coffee right? We were greeted with a smile + good morning from the young lady working... More

Hot or cold, java is the thing, in many forms and guises. That's what they do, and very well at that.

A tiny little open air place on the main drag...only about a dozen seats, very few treats available....but the coffee is what you come for. We love their cappuccinos with the nice dark edge on the top; short shots are also a hit and a half. Nice staff. Service may not be too quick as they get quite a few... More

It was a hot afternoon and I wanted a cold beverage but also wanted coffee. The cold brew latte with almond milk was perfect! Little bit pricey (similar to Starbucks prices at home) but worth the splurge.

Visited once - ordered a cappuccino for comparison sake. It was excellent. Actually bought two bags of beans as well. 2/3 lb for about $10. Little expensive but really good!
