You will enjoy tasting their pescado with palm hearts. It comes with rice and a salad. My husband ordered fillet with seafood rojo. On our final night in Jaco we both ordered the pargo rojo entero (entire red snapper) fried with vegetables. It went well with our cold beers. Wow, what fantastic dinners! Come for the food and friendly service.... More

A friend living in Jaco recommended the restaurant. It was decent and reasonably priced. It was full of locals but the area overall seemed a little sketchy. The shrimp al ajillo was tasty but a bit oily and the rice a bit crunchy.

The food was PERFECT. The portions were massive. The prices were beyond reasonable. All around one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in Costa Rica, couldn't have been better.

Amazing Costarrican Food, what ticos eat like when going out to non-thematic restaurants. Great shrimps with rice and don't be scared to order the pricey Ceviche, the quality of the fish is worth it. The rest of the food has a veeeery good price, so it's not a tourist trap like many others. The girl that served us was a... More

We enjoyed trying the local food at this place. I had the fish in tomato sauce. My husband had the chicken with rice. My son had the chicken breast plate shown in the picture below. There is a television and seating is outdoors.

During our trip, we found that the local restaurants are much more authentic in local cuisines. We enjoyed their daily special for lunch: fish with shrimp, rice, vegetables plus a glass of white wine for 6 colones. It hit the spot after a hike and rappelling in the morning!

My wife and I recently had lunch at this restaurant based on the recommendation of two local friends. We were very pleased with the quality of our food and the prices were very reasonable. Service was also very good. We live in Costa Rica and have eaten a many local restaurants. We will definitely come back to this restaurant.

This restaurant was great. The food was fresh and tasted terrific. The sevice was good as well. Just be sure you can order in spanish. But the arroz con pollo, arroz con camarones and especially the arroz con pescado (the biggest red snapper) were awesome.

Isage was recommended to us by a local resident and we were not disappointed. We ordered shrimp and rice, chicken and rice and black beans and rice and all were delicious. You could actually see the ladies cooking your food in the kitchen and the tables were clean and servers were friendly. Prices were great compared to other restaurants in Jaco... More

Great food at a reasonable price. The wait staff were very helpful with constant, genuine smiles. In fact one of the waiters became a participant in our wedding and is planning a visit to our ranch !!
