After a long day of work in Heredia, my local colleagues told us that there's a restaurant in the mountains that they'd like to take us. The views turned out to be amazing, and so did the food. The cooks in the kitchen make everything fresh, and it definitely has local flavors. Everything we all tried was really tasty, I... More

Second time here and no disappointment. Great Tico food in a perfect setting. The only thing missing was a pad for the chairwhich the owner quickly provided.

We read about the highly recommended Miradors in San Jose and it didn't disappoint! We were greeted by the owner of the restaurant who graciously offered to show us around and shared some of the history of the area including a tour of the kitchen. We heard Tiquicia has the best view.....it was unbelievable! You can see the entire city... More

The view is breathtaking especially at night. The meal was excellent. Service very friendly. However, in the evening it is necessary to wear some warm clothing because it can get a little cool. It is a really a very authentic place. Highly recommended.

Adventurous drive to the restaurant with views worth the drive. Good local flavor. New open air deck with table heater. We had great wait staff.

As others on Trip Advisor had said- the view is fabulous. Just don't go there for the food or cocktails. Take the taxi ride up, have a beer, take some photos and get out. The kids in charge of making drinks have no clue what they are doing, the wait staff is decent but can't overcome the average, bland food.... More

This is a wonderful place for typical Costa Rican food and the floor show of folkloric dances is very entertaining. It is a little far up in the hills but worth the drive. The owner is especially friendly and happy to help whatever the need is. We attended a pre-wedding dinner and everyone enjoyed the experience.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better view of San Jose from this typical Costa Rican restaurant. The service is pretty good and the prices are easy on the wallet. It is primarily Costa Rican food, but it is delicious and the portions are good. Bring your appetite and your camera!

My amiga and I were there on a Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. Certainly not a tourist trap as at least 90% of the customers were ticos. The waiter was attentive and courteous. We each had a tamarind steak and they were excellent, with an appetizer and a bottle of wine. The prices were fair for the value that... More

If you are visiting San José this place has an awesome view, you can enjoy with your family, take pictures and have a great time. After you are done taking pictures, RUN! Don't even think about eating there, the food is overpriced, the service is TERRIBLE and you'll regret not getting back to Escazú downtown to enjoy a meal after... More
