After a tour of the National Museum which was wonderful we had a recommendation for this restaurant which was not a disappointment. The service was top notch. The food was very Tico and delicious. But the Margherita was OMG superb!👍👍👍👍👍

Really expensive for traditionnal food. Salad not tasty at all, Just 3 pieces of chicken on the top. Pasta in olive oil.. The staff is not smiling. The only positive thing is the atmosphere with the music and deco.

The food is actually very good, and the portions also very large, unfortunately everything is very expensive (as usual in a plcae catering to the tourists), but what I found highly irritating, and that is the reason, why I gave only three points of five, was, that all of us received our bills without having asked for them, It looks,... On my recent two-day 'mileage run' to Costa Rica, I ate lunch here on Sunday, October 2nd. The restaurant was recommended by one of my hotel's Reception staff members, who suggested it as a place for typical Costa Rican fare. Some of the reviews stated that this place is merely dressed up as 'local' for the tourists. Well, I can... More

The Plantain tasted like they where old and oily. The Guacamole was blended and had no flavors Their salad lacked taste and creativity. OVERPRICED, had everything been fresh and had good flavors, it would not have been expensive.

You must try their strawberry ice tea very very very good. The food over all was good but our server seemed to have an attitude.

This place is awesome once you get over the fact that you will be waiting for your server and food. However, it's well worth the wait. The first thing that I noticed was all the locals that were there for lunch. I figured that the food was going to be authentic and it was fantastic. My gf ordered a soup... More

Do not waste your money. Food is very expensive and it does not taste good. My husband and I ordered the corvina house specialty. The fish was not fresh and tasted like it was defrozed before they served it to us. The texture was of a pudding water taste consistency. It was cold and flavorless. We paid over $26 dollars... We decided to eat here. It's close to the National Museum and the artesian market. Parking lot right across the street. We wanted to taste typical Costa Rican food. Overall very satisfying. A bit pricey but good ambiance, good food, and great staff.

The main reasons why I am giving this restaurant such low rating is because of the price and the food variety. Prices are extremely high for the type of food that is, you can definitely find in some other popular places plates a lot cheaper than what they offer, and also at the same level of taste of greater. The... More
