It's a very famous and classic local restaurant. The menu basically is sandwichs and burgers and none of them are great. It's a secure normal option but I will not come back

Breakfast, Costa Rican style. While I normally don't think of rice and beans with eggs for breakfast, I must admit it was good. We sat outside and enjoyed the food and experience! Service was sporadic but friendly.

Popped in for a quick lunch and had a Casado. The service was attentive and the food was a great size for the price I paid. The smoothie was very fruity And again great value for money

I asked the hotel staff for a suggestion on authentic Costa Rican food and they told me about Soda Tapia. If you want a fine dining experience this is definitely not your place. It reminded me of a fast food restaurant but it is not. The food was fresh and tasty. This place is where the locals go to but... More

We had pescado al ajillo which was quite dry and hardly tasted of garlic at all. The chicken in the chicken burger was soggy. The fries were nice and crispy. We had to wait quite a long time for the food and the service was not attentive.

This place is called Soda Tapia, because Soda is the name we use for small restaurants that usually serves hamburgers, sandwichs and other typical fast foods. Having said that this is a great place for 1 - breakfast, try the pinto or the arreglado, again you could get better flavor in other places but this is a classic 2 -... More

Cuando regresé a mi querida Tiquicia después de muchos años con mi familia lo primero que hicimos al llegar a Chepe fué parar a comer un bocadillo en la famosa "Soda Tapia". When I returned to my beloved Tiquicia after been many years outside, the first thing my family and I did was stop for a quick bite to eat... More

We went to buy some of their famous ice cream, a couple of scups, nothing more. It took us 35 minutes to receive our order. Customers were leaving because of the service. Maybe is understandable if the place would have been packed, but it was barely half full. In this days were competition is everywere, service is very important.

Not a very vegetarian friendly place with almost no option! Otherwise, they have one of the best Costa Rican Galo Pinto!!
