Simply the best on the island. The ika mata & island curry are the highlights. Service is a bit patchy, but Aunty Tupuna's kitchen is where the locals go to celebrate.

Just a small well put togather restaurant in the heights of Aitutaki, friendly staff, only seats a small number. A special of coconut crab worth the visit and a very good price, not sure they always have it. Nice break from the hotels.

As a couple we dined several times at Tupuna's Restaurant. The delicious food never disappointed. If your heading that way, I highly recommend Tupuna's flambéed bananas, just sooo good. With a great atmosphere, add to this, the waitresses are happy, helpful, and polite. See you again next year. (Really)

Hands down the best chowder I have ever consumed and the raw fish salad... OMG. Delicious. Friendly service, delicious food, relaxed atmosphere and gorgeous cocktails. What more could you want? A must in Aitutaki!

The food here was full of flavors & delicious! An island local suggested we have dinner here... I'm glad we listened! This restaurant is at someones home and has a very chill and relaxing environment. The day we went there were a few locals dinning there along with other tourist. While, I understand it was a somewhat busy night I... More

We had dinner at Tupuna 2 times while we were staying in Aitutaki. Food and service is great and loved the island feel with the sand flooring and tropical trees around. Definitely book a reservation on a weekend it small and could fill up all seats quickly during a busy time on the island.

This place has very very good food. If you spend any time on Airutaki, even a single day, this should be the place that you get dinner.

Cafe Tupuna is up in the hills of Aitutaki - tucked away in a lovely garden with sand floor - excellent menu and wine choices; quirky decor and friendly service - we loved it.
