Everyone we spoke to prior to our Rarotonga visit said we must eat here and I have to say they were all 'right on the money'. The fish is sooo fresh and the meals delicious for all the family at a very reasonable price. On the day we visited there were no queues and service was very quick! Highly recommend.

This cafe is small and only open for short hours Sunday to Friday inclusive (closed Saturday). Captain Moko heads out fishing in the very early hours, and is back to prepare the catch for Jillie and her team to serve up from opening time at midday. FOB - Fresh off the Boat - is a HUGE turkish bread sandwich containing... More

We had the FOB (fish on bread) sandwich twice during our 5 night stay in Raro. We had heard good things about The Mooring from a few people and we weren't disappointed. Freshly caught fish - including Tuna and Mahi Mahi with delicious lime mayo and salad. Very reasonably priced too!

Excellent food and atmosphere. The FOD (fish of the day) sandwiches were great. Salads are great. People are friendly with good service

The FOB sandwich become my staple lunchtime meal. I stayed in the Muri area, so it wasn't far from my resort. The staff are really friendly and some days they have live music playing. The fish is sensational, so fresh, literally off the boat and into a sandwich. Now that I'm back home I crave the FOB. It is a... More

Fresh fish to die for! You HAVE to get a F.O.B sandwich (add bacon if you dare). $13 for a huge sandwich filed with the freshest fish of the day! The service is fast and friendly and the location is great too with a view of the beach! This is a MUST DO!

We went for lunch and had an amazing feed, the fish in the sea are huge and so colorful, what a great experience.

We had the CLT and FOB sandwiches, they were so delish, we went back for more. Very popular cafe - great food, great location and great people. Will definitely visit again.

We always go for the crumbed fish sandwich. We love it! This time we also took 4 friends. We have never had a complaint and have gone since it opened. Beautiful spot on the harbor in muri. Just as a side not.... We have always loved the blue they painted on their buildings, and the owner we adore!
