Very cozy...went in on a Thursday evening...locals night. Heard that they had some discounted menu items on Thursday-Locals Night, but they had just pulled off menu for December. Oh well! Listened to some local entertainment...Zack Daniels...and he was awesome!! Food a bit pricey, but tasty. Service was great. Atmosphere and live music wonderful!

Great place, warm and cozy with a traditional touch of Alaskan decor Food: Try halibut over pasta and fine herbs or their variety of steaks, very delicious and most of all, the different flavors are a great challenge for your culinary taste....i like it

Went there for anniversary dinner, not at all impressed! Service poor, food was pricey and got a little amount of food I asked the server if that was all the halibut I got and she laughed Not going back, the wife makes much better halibut!

Restaurants attached to Lodging tend to be sub-par, but not Mykel's. It's definitely worth seeking out. The shrimp & scallop au gratin, the mixed drink and the smoked ribeye were perfect. The server was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. My only disappointment was one of my dogs finding my doggie bag and eating the rest of the ribeye. I guess Mykel's... More

Good restaurant, great steaks. We like to sit in the bar area and listen to live music have a drink and start with the salmon spread appetizer (they give you a lot and its yummy) We've always had good service

Thanks for the great service and high quality consistent food. I love everything but the decor. The profits go into the food quality and I appreciate that.

You can choose to eat in the bar and have food choices that may or may not be the same as the restaurant. But the atmosphere is way more casual than the main restaurant. My gripe with this place are the odd hours. They open later in the day and are closed on odd days. I think on SU and... More

As best my wife and I could tell, Mykel's is only traditional, nicer restaurant in Soldotna. The folks were very friendly, the service prompt and the food very good. My wife and I didn't feel like huge dinners, so we split the salmon special ($32). It was excellent, prepared with some sort of sauce which, truthfully, I forget precisely, but... More

We found this place on trip advisor. Varied menu. I had the scallops dish, my husband had the osso bucco. Both were wonderful. A good wine selection. Bread basket with butter brought to your table. Cozy, comfortable setting. prices higher than other places in town, but the food was better also. I highly recommend when you are in Soldotna.
