Makan is situated in a small soi off Thanon Chumsai. The place used to be a tailor's and the old owner sometimes sits in the restaurant and sips his coffee. Now the restaurant is run by his daughters, and they do a perfect job. Only...drawback, for vegetarians there's not much more than eggs and buns.More

Nice, authentic restaurant with lovely stuff and moderate prices. Recommended it! Moreover it opens quite early.

Makan still have the best breakfast in Loei. The khai ka ta and buns filled with pork meat are excellent and low priced.

Excellent restaurant for a good and low priced breakfast. It's very popular among locals and it can be difficult to find a seat in the morning. I have been here 3-4 timed for breakfast. Their Kai Ka Ta together with a bread filled with pork-meat...and sausage are greatMore

Beware, the marker on the map is not correct. The street address is though. It's up the small soi that Royal Inn entrance is on, just off Chum Sai rd. Really nice place for breakfast, family run and packed with locals. Pork rolls are crispy...and I had to have 2 :) Kai Ka Ta was pretty good too. They do tasty ice teas and coffee. Overall, worth the search and effort.More

I told the girl in the reception at my hotel, that I love to it Kai Ka Ta as breakfast. She told me this restautant gadw the best in town. So I went there today. It's a simple old style Thai restaurant. And it was...crowded with Thai people eating their breakfast before going to their job. I ordered Kai Ka Ta, which came together with a sandwich (bun) filled with pork meat. Both the egg-dish and sandwich tasted very good. I also had a coffee. 60 baht for everything was a steal...More
