We visited Avila that day with our tour group and stopped in here for lunch. Lunch was a pre-ordered group meal, a simple three-course meal. We had sautéed snow peas with finely-chopped bacon as a starter, pan-fried chicken leg with chips for our main course, tiramisu ice cream for dessert. I thought the sautéed snow peas tasted very home cooked;... More

On a trip to Madrid, going to have lunch in Avila and stop by in this restaurant, witch was a excellent choice due to the great relation quality/price and good menu that you can choose. You can choose some tapas and after some good spanish dishes, like a nice paella or some meat, that you can do at your table.... More

We came here, because it seemed like more of a local restaurant than the more heavily tourist oriented ones within the walls. It was very busy the first time we tried to eat here, but on the second day, we were able to arrive rather earlier and sat upstairs in the more formal dining area. The service was excellent. We... We were a group of nine English speakers. Waiter brought menus and an older English version of the same. Food was very good - lots of choices to suit everyone. Very quick service and good value.

We were there a night before friends's wedding. Good selection of wine and food. Enough space to hang out inside and outside. Their calamari was especially great just coming out of the kitchen. Tapas should not be missed.

We found this restaurant in a nice square just a few minutes walk from the walls. It seemed pretty popular but that might have been because there were very few places open near the old town as compared to the main street taking you back to the train station. The service was fine and the food was good but unless... More

Gigantic portions and delicious food. 3 of us ordered 2 set meals - our main courses were grilled beef with potatoes, and calamari with salad. Aside from that, we ordered a huge sandwich €4. The sets were €16 each. The portions were so large that we had to request them to pack the leftovers for us to take back -... More

We enjoyed this restaurant very much, for its creative, fresh food and friendly service in addition to a fine location. Home-made ice cream was the crowning touch--apparently a specialty of the manager/chef. We were very grateful for the uncomplicated attitude towards kids, Americans, and all of our quirks.

Creative restaurant, nice presentation, excellent service. The food is very good and far from all the traditional dishes served in touristic restaurants of area. Good value for money.
