As soon as you walk in the very friendly staff make you feel wanted. We ordered salmon and a fish basket, both were very tasty. Of course we had to have a Guinness each, as you do in an Irish pub, well worth a visit.

Three for lunch. Friendly welcome. Good atmosphere / surroundings - altho very " hot cooking oil" smell pervadied from kitchen into eating area. Good menu selection- one of us chose steak- generous portions of chips and salad- he was well satisfied. Two of us ordered corn stacks. which turned out to be sparse greens/ bacon on side of three very... More

Popped in for a quick bite and a drink last Friday night. Good menu selection, it's an Irish bar which serves cold Guiness and a good wine selection. Seating is available outside All round a good experience and I will definitely go back

Went there after a long drive from Mt Cook and found the best chicken burger we have ever seen in New Zealand. No artificial flavours, no sugar sauce, all great natural ingredients. Highly recommended!

Impromptu stop while travelling. Extensive and varied menu. Staff attended to us promptly and were both attentive and friendly during our visit. Would recommend the Snapper in Beer Batter. Coffees were also made promptly and were both well made. Would recommend and will return.

We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed a good meal, drinks, and service. I had the bangers and mash, which was very good, while my wife had eggs benedict. This place looks like a real Irish pub, with lots of locals. The service was prompt and attentive. Lunch for two with drinks came to NZ$46.

Good friendly service, we were served quickly. I had the pasta, my husband had the steak, the meals were good size servings. Meals were hot and very nicely cooked. We sat out sit on a nice sunny day and it was very pleasant We would happily stop there again.

Having been a resident of Ashburton in the late 1990s-it was nice to see that Kelly's was as good as ever on our recent trip to the Mainland. Our friend plus ourselves could enjoy the unpretentious and hearty food as well as soak up the atmosphere outside on the street on a pleasant sunny winter's afternoon. The screens cum wind... More

We had brunch and really enjoyed the food. Prices were good and so was the service. We have eaten here in the past and always enjoy the food.
