We had a wonderful breakfast. Food was homemade and local. I heard the coffee drinks were good as well. Quiche was tall and fluffy and yummy! Just be aware that buses like to stop here and then it takes a while.

A bit pricey but this is Alaska. Good fresh bakery products. Good coffee and very nice setting off the road. Relaxing place.
It is well worth driving a short distance down the lane to enjoy the pastries they make. It is on your way to Talkeetna and a nice stop off place for a coffee break. They give you big cups of coffee.
The clerk was more interested in taking her break, than waiting on customers. We ordered a small pizza and salad and they brought the pizza, but no salad. After waiting another 15 minutes, my husband went to the register to inquire and was rudely told...More
Had wood fired pizza, which was pretty good. Fresh toppings. Service was a little slow, but that may have been because we were not familiar with how the place operates. Interesting wine selection.
Flying Squirrel was a quirky, fun place to eat. The food was fresh, unique and delicious! It was a great experience, and I would highly recommend it!
I loved the fresh white chocolate chip, craisin cookies. The toasted bagels with cream cheese were delicious! The service was fast and easy.
