My wife and I wanted to return for another meal based on our previous experiences. We drove 73 miles just to eat here. The place was busy and we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. I started with some corn chowder with some sort of hot pepper and potato. Very tasty, but served only luke warm. My wife... More

Stopped here to meet friends. Pancakes are massive - size of hub caps! Excellent value for money. Toilets outside and very basic. Service was ok. Not somewhere we'd stop again tho.

This is one of those "off the beaten path" gems where if you want to truly experience a genuine local eatery where there are no airs of pretentiousness, with no attempt to draw the tourist trade, that you have to try. Far from some slicked up all show and no go establishment. These people are the real deal. And yes,... More

I remember this place from when I was a kid!! The pancakes are HUGE!! we were too late in the day for them, but I remember them. The ambiance is not for those looking for high end! You might have to sit with strangers if you come when they are busy!! The food was delicious! The coffee could put some... More

This was our second visor here for breakfast. Food is good. Service is good for the area. Portions are huge ' you won't get s better local breakfast for your dollar. Rest rooms are filthy though.

Great little cafe tucked away from I-17. We were stuck in traffic enroute to Sedona and decided to jump off the express way for a bite to eat and this place was awesome. Country food, great vibe and nice locals. Try it!

Stopped on our trip north on the 17 due to slow traffic. Reviews said no frills but good food so we took a chance. Waitress complained, chicken strips were all breading and what chicken was in it was fatty, Undercooked. The onion rings were cold and the condiment bottles of ketchup and mustard were dirty on the outside. Not worth... More

Cindy offers one of the Best Hamburgers in Black Canyon City -- My husband and I will go no other place for a burger in town. She also makes too many fries that you can't eat them all in one sitting unless you have help and one order of onion rings would easily feed three people! Stop in and check... More

I haven't Dined here since 19-something. We stopped in on a recent road trip to Phoenix. Still the same. No frills, just good food and friendly service.
