This was by far the best experience and quality we have ever had at the lorraine branch. We went at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. It was nice and quiet and the food and service was exceptional! Thank you lorraine team!

This is definitely a spot not to be missed. We were welcomed warmly and sat at long tables where strangers sit with strangers and all just join in. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The food was out of this world, best ribs EVER and generous portions at very affordable prices. No frills, no fuss, totally relaxed unique environment. Added... More

Literally finger-licking food! Ribs and prawns and chips. Yum. Unpretentious with great hospitality. No frill and fancies just great food (lots of it!) at a great price. Oh yes, you can take your own wine and there is no corkage!

We went for an evening meal at the Lorraine restaurant run by Jose's son Bruno and were not disappointed. The same unpretentious, rough and ready formula with the most mouthwateringly delicious prawns, ribs and Prego rolls you could wish for, there are other menu items we haven't tried but all the plates being served around us seemed to disappear with... If you are looking for a laid back evening in an unpretentious restaurant - where you are greeted by a warm host who will ensure you get what you pay for. You can bring your own wine. Very casual, generous portions of ribs, chicken, prawns (or whatever your heart desires), drenched in butter, basting sauce or peri-peri. Yummyyyy. Don't forget... More

We chose this restaurant based on the reviews we had read and were not disappointed. It is a pretty unique experience and one that should not be missed. There is a limited choice on the menu but ribs, chicken and prawns is plenty. All looked good and we can vouch for the ribs, chips and salad. Remember to take your... More

A quick dinner after work turned out to be one of the best dinners I recently had. Food was very well prepared and so tasty... we ended up finishing the plates not because we were still hungry but because the food was so good!
