So my wife and I are regulars in Melville , becsuse of the charity shops ( so when I say we , I mean I get dragged by her to look for books at them charity shops). We passed Cafe Mehico so many times , but never bothered to try it out coz it looked shady as f$#k. Then one... More

We walked in with the expectation of the usual Mexican warmth on a rainy day. The place neends serious maintenance doneeven an upgrade. Fridge was almost empty with no real choice of drinks and leaking on the counter while you trying to get a drink. In the back there were 4 young peopple with ocka pipes. We changed our mind... More

To be honest, we are regulars here. Good food, good service and the owner occasionally interacts. I hate to have to put this on social media, but now that the manager has started to ignore my messages - they have blocked me into a corner. I went there on 22 Feb 2017, tried to pay via card - took them... More

Great Atmosphere decor is stunning, makes you feel you are actually in Mexico. Staff wonderful, the Starters were actually too much. We never got to the Main meal as the Starter portions are for Huge eaters. Value for Money

I have been frequenting Melville for many years. Café Mexicho is a gem. This is the only place where I eat the poppers, which is absolutely delicious. On a previous time I had the Nachos which you can get in mild or hot, which is perfect for someone whose palate is not used to spicy food. On this last occasion... More

Cool place to hang out with friends but disappointing main courses. The beef con Cani was disappointing it lacked Flavour and was extremely salty. It lacked the traditional con cani flavors.. the service was bad our waitress did not bring all our orders I had to call the manager

Waiters are rude, vegetarian options are awful and you will probably get your phone stolen on the way to your car. However if you manage to get the tequila shots flowing you will have an okay time

I still prefer coming here for Mexican food. I like the layout of the place and the feel makes me feel like I'm away and in a foreign place. The food is great and the servings come in large portions.. and the food is really tasty

Me and my friends were frequent customers during our time in melville. We usually went for drinks but were suprised at how great the mexican food was. A very young and hip vibe and great for drinks with large groups.

If you are expecting super attentive service, this is not the place for you. The staff are enthusiastic and fun. Food does take it's time, but it is really worth the wait. I really enjoyed the meal, the atmosphere is fantastic. Good experience.
