This little place is hard to find but it is all worth. Great local food in buffet style. Bring your business card as the walls are covered by them and signature. Famous people from around the world visit!

This place has A LOT of history. The walls are signed with many signatures, some of which you’ll recognize, and it’s safe to say this is quite the local institution. The food consists of a variety of filling and wholesome stews, cooked meats, and vegetables....More

This is restaurant gives you a taste of the local cuisine. There were many local dishes on the buffet. This was followed by a choice of 3 desserts.

Stop by for a beer or lunch and really feel the Soweto experience in a neighborhood famous spot. We only had beers but the local food looked great. Well worth a stop.

I was at Wandies for lunch on 28th December 2015, with 5 other people, at 13h00. Despite the fact that the entire "tourist route" in Soweto was extremely busy, we were the only customers in the entire restaurant, and no one else arrived during our...More
