This is the kitchy type of diner that drew in travelers on Route 66. Good ole diner fare with home made root beer. Great service. Typical retro atmosphere.

Loved the decor and the staff was so friendly to myself and all my kids. Regular diner fare - burgers, sandwiches, pizza etc.. But delicious to be sure! If you are coming through town and love 50's diner style, I would highly recommend this place - definitely a must-see!

Besides the amazing sunrise we were both very happy with our meal- we both had the huevos rancheros and it was fantastic! Our waitress was great with the customer service- my husband saw that they bottle their own rootbeer so he had that and we ended up buying a case of it also- when we come through again we will... Stopped to eat lunch -- open face burger, fries smothered with brown gravy. Yummy! Also had the Mr Ds Rootbeer : ) Worth the stop for sure! Family friendly too.

first time was terrible, but believe in second chances. Second time was just as bad. The food was not good, the burger tasted like frozen patties, no flavor and both times the staff acted like they didn't want ot be there. The place was dirty, but instead of cleaning in between customers they just stood around chatting. And just a little... More

Decided to stay in Kingman on my Route 66 trip. Went to Mr. D'z for breakfast and was not disappointed. My breakfast was great. Our waiter was friendly. I atmosphere was Route 66 nostalgia all the way. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
