The food is arguably the best in wilderness but the setting next door to the petrol station doesn't help the experience. On top of that we were seated upstairs on the mezzanine floor which was very hot and stuffy.

Food was very mediocre and bland . We all had fish and prawns which were all over cooked. Everything was served on a mountain of cheap rice impregnated with chunks of par cooked cabbage. We had a waitress who kept interrupting while we were talking....More

I had a chicken curry dish. It was just terrible. The sauce was tickened by flour and all I could taste was the flour. The source was so thick looked like a baby food. It was just disgusting. How could any restaurant present a food...More

We had a great evening meal here. Excellent food, with a knowledgeable and friendly waiter and a nice, buzzy atmosphere. It looks as if it is in an odd spot behind the petrol station, but don't be fooled, this is a high class restaurant!

This was our 1st visit to the Girl’s restaurant guided by the #3 rating on TripAdvisor. The service was quick. Although the waiter said the food may take up to 20 minutes the food arrived quickly (more like 5-10 minutes). The prawn trio with rice...More

This one you have to book, but worth it. The was good but pricier than some South African restaurants. (Still much cheaper than the UK). I chose well and had fish of the day with king prawns. Delicious. My husband was less impressed with his...More

Visited on recommendation of a local, and food was excellent. Don't go if you're looking for a great view, as it's located in the back of a petrol station, but great value quality food.

Don’t be put off by the fact that it is beside a petrol station. It’s a really busy, buzzy seafood restaurant with friendly staff and a great menu. The food is delicious - the curry particularly - and the service efficient and helpful. The cost...More

We needed to book a day ahead even to getan early sitting. Great atmosphere in a very busy restaurant, good menu choices, very well prepared food exactly as ordered, local wine at a reasonable price and excellent service

The restaurant seating is on both first and ground level. I am quiet certain it can be accessible to someone on crutches because there are dining tables on the ground floor. About opening times, I can't tell. We came early... More
