We have been visiting Cape Town since 2002 and have stayed in Camps Bay for the last 4 years. On each visit we always make a point of eating at Blues. This year, out of the 14 nights stay we ate at Blues FIVE times. Not that there were many others to choose from, but if wanted good and friendly... More

The food last night was outstanding. The place is best known for seafood, but everything on the menu is good, as a group of 12 people there was a wide selection of orders, and the meats were just as good as the fish. So don't think because it is so much cheaper than the seafood it is not as good.... More

I went with my son because the restaurant has top rating on TripAdvisor. I had the mixed seafood platter (the most expensive one). The portion was big and the seasoning was perfect. They replaced the usual wine sauce for the oysters with a non-alcoholic sauce because they saw that I was wearing hijab which was very thoughtful. We sat on... More

We returned, as we always do, for our post-conference dinner. There are many fine seafood restaurants in Camps Bay, but this is the best of the best. They have always accommodated us (even when numbers attending rise from 10 to 22 in the hours before our reservation), have always been gracious and helpful, and most importantly, always provide amazing food.... Great venue with excellent choice of seafood. Bustling location right across the road from Camps Bay beach. Perfect location to be with a glass of wine watching the magnificent sunsets!

You don't need a starter in this restaurant- the mains are massive. You will not get as good quality sea food in many places, and very reasonably priced. Very relaxing atmosphere.

We enjoyed lunch at Blues and had a lovely little balcony table overlooking beautiful Camps Bay. The service and the food were equally great. I enjoyed a lovely local white fish (can't remember the name) with veggies and potatoes. My son had the pasta with crayfish The fish was huge and looks a lot like a big lobster to me... More

My intention when I started my TripAdvisor account was only to review places we have enjoyed. However my husband and I had such a bad experience at this particular restaurant that we feel we should review for the benefit of others. I had booked this restaurant on a recommendation from friends who have eaten here on a number of occasions.... More

We booked Blues for my brothers' 70th birthday lunch as we were staying in Camp's Bay for a few days on our trip to South Africa. The restaurant has a great location on the first floor so the view looking onto the white sandy beach is perfect. Inside is light ,airy and chic and there are balconies for those sundowners... More
