Sevruga is located in the V&A Waterfront. Love the ambience of the place and the food is very good and not as overpriced as other similar restaurants. We had steaks and it was very good. The restaurant also has good seafood but we did not try it. A definite recommend.

Nicely furnished restaurant in a good location on the V&A Waterfront. We enjoyed our meal which was nicely served. I had the "Duck Liver Pate" which was excellent and a highlight for me.

We had an excellent night at Sevruga. Seated in the outdoor (but screened for comfort) terrace area, we enjoyed delicious sushi, beef fillet and prawn curry. Very attentive staff and management...Sevruga exceeded our expectations. Thanks to our waiter and Bosman for making it a very memorable meal.

Perfect location for a relaxed meal looking out over the Waterfront. I had an amazing Kingklip fillet accompanied by a glass or two of a Stellenbosch Chenin Blanc. Hard to beat!

The service was in my opinion good. Our orders came fairly fast and although we where late got seated quickly. The actual food was not very cheap though neither was it anything remarkable too eat. I personally would not visit again but it is ok.

I have visited Sevruga a few times, and the food has always been good, as well as the service. I was very disappointed this time around. It took 20 minutes before anyone came to serve us. Since they are known for their dim sum and sushi, we ordered our usual Lamb dim sum but were informed that they had run... More

We were in Cape Town for 4 days last September as part of a 2 week holiday and ate at Sevruga on our second night. The menu was expansive but the food was delicious and fresh. The service was good and the wine list superb. The restaurant appeared expensive compared to other places we ate, but with the exchange rate,... More

Loved the options of wines and food right at the waterfront. Good location with indoor and 'outdoor' sitting.

Lovely upmarket restaurant in prime position at the Waterfront. Very busy so bookings are essential. We arrived at 21H00 and the place was buzzing with activity. Service was quick......almost immediately as we took our seats and sometimes this is not ideal, as one needs to contemplate choice of drinks, etc, before placing the food orders. Dinner for four persons and... More

I had hesitations about going to this restaurant to start with--how can you sell dim sum, sushi, seafood and steaks all at once? What do you really do well? Many a restaurant has died trying to be too many things to too many people. We were a large group and lucky to get a table to start with at the... More

Sevruga is a culmination of a lifetime of work, and our complete dedication to perfection. Although perfection is almost always a step away, we always endeavour to exceed your wildest expectations, offerings lush interiors, exquisite dining and an intimate atmosphere seating up to 350. From the New York style entrance, polished marble and solid wooden floors, to the fabulous American walnut bar counter and designer chairs with opulent, imported fabric, it is clear that no expense has been spared. Our philosophy when creating Sevruga was the same as when we create our signature dishes. We use the best possible raw ingredients, combined with professional and creative suppliers and craftsmen to create a truly amazing experience. An elaborate menu offering a vast array of wines and meals ranging from humble dishes to taste sensations, with more complex tastes and flavours. The service is relaxed yet professional, while the view from both inside the restaurant and out on the terrace, will take your breath away! As part of giving Sevruga customers an all-round experience, a Functions Manager for tour and incentive groups is always on hand and, from the entrance to the kitchen, Sevruga has steadfast principles in place to guarantee an over-all experience of grandeur. With especially designed set menus, we can cater for any function. It's no wonder that every now and then we are delighted to have famous faces, both local and international, grace our establishment. A-list Hollywood stars such as Harrison Ford, Calista Flockhart and Tom Hardy, have been spotted dining at Sevruga, as well as our beautiful Benoni Blom Charlize Theron. You never know you might just bump into Brangalina! "The only reason to visit the V&A Waterfront". - The New York Times.
