We had a burger and fish and chips. Main courses about $10-15. All good including the beers! Cocktails about $6.

We only have ourselves to blame really as we had eaten here a few days earlier and enjoyed the music so decided to go back. Second time around the service was extremely slow which wasn't the staffs fault rather the lack of them. We had steaks first time around which were good but the lamb curry second time around was... We stopped here one evening at random. The restaurant has lots of outdoor and covered seating, mostly on picnic tables. The menus is casual with basic food choices. I had fish and chips, and my wife had the soup. The service was friendly and the atmosphere very casual. They often have live music as well.

I always liked Ferrymans because of the beer. The service is ok but not too good, as they lack waiters to service all the people. The food is ok but expensive - but food prices are high in the waterfront.

Actually stopped in here twice - once for lunch and another time to get drinks before having dinner elsewhere. At our lunch we had to return and cancel one meal ordered and have it replaced with another meal entirely - the original meal could not be salvaged. The waiter was quick to rectify the manner and was apologetic. The place... More

During our 4 day trip to Cape Town we would visit the Ferrymans before and after dinner. It was always busy, had a good vibe and the bands in the evening were entertaining.

A Sunday afternoon need for a quick beer landed us at Ferrymans. We were not in the mood for the whole vibe and managed to get a seat outside at the entrance. From there we could observe, enjoy and sip on a beer... great "old man" band live music and a continuous stream of people in and out. The ladies... More

The venue inside and outside are most attractive and reminiscent of overseas pubs. The basket meals are delicious, especially the wraps and sauces.

Nice and relaxed. Had something to bite and to drink. We sat outside with a good vibe around us. You have to try the Ferrymans lager they brew it themselves.

This is an inside market setting with lots of choice. There is a great coffee bar, lots of food from all around the world. It's buzzing & there is a great atmosphere
