This is our 2nd visit and yet again the ribs were absolutely amazing that my husband had. Unfortunately I orderd the bacon & Avo pizza. I am convinced that it was not bacon on my pizza as the guest next to me complained as well. The "bacon" had a very weird taste and texture. This was not good at all.... More

Food. Drinks. People. Ambience. Prices. It is like a whole package. A great place to eat, drink, meet people. Staff remember old customers. Always good to be back. Thanks you!

Sitting at the bar for the Ire v Eng rugby as I had the week previous for Wal v Ire, I enjoyed the great atmosphere, the brilliant staff and a lovely pizza! After the game (which we won by the way!! 😜), I had a couple more beers with a random Irish guy I got chatting to and finished up... More

We would like to apologise for the misunderstanding. It was a very busy evening and there was a confusion with the bill. When we checked the records, we found that there were two rounds ordered, the first of which was put on your tab, and the second round was put on the other gentleman's tab, which he paid. We did... While a 'pub is a pub', discovering this Cape Town institution was a pleasant surprise. Always fixated on a sea view or the nearby Waterfront, chasing The Arms proved a refreshing surprise. Decent BIG food portions backed by good friendly service, I'll be back! The lamb curry I had was excellent (and probably big enough to share for most people!).

The last time I was here was for a concert by the CT Welsh Choir on the occasion of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. The surroundings have changed completely since then, but the FA is (mostly) the same. The interior is surprisingly large for what looks, from the outside, like a very small building. It is broken up... More
