Husband and I saw this was a good burger place online and we are so glad we stopped. Good energy and food. Try the mac and cheese croquettes with truffle sauce and the strawberry floss shake!

I'm American, so this wasn't the most interesting place for me. The food was good, but nothing mind-blowing. Lots of burger options on the menu. I appreciated that. Sides were extra, but they were good.

We had a really good meal here on our first night in Cape Town. It's really casual and easy going. The burgers were great and the the cheesy chips are fantastic! The staff were really helpful and easy on the eye! I would definitely eat here again!

Great choice of burgers, really tasty and well priced. Great vibe and fun staff. Just along the road from the Mount Nelson hotel if you fancy a complete change of scene

Burgers, fries, beer, service. All just okay. Onion rings had no taste. Decent prices. Would seek other options.

Yum! Sometimes you just want a burger! Had the small "the works" on a gluten free bun which had great taste! Fries were a little off and the nacho appetizer unfortunately had seasoned nachos but the quac was fine.

At the top of Long St your find Hudsons Burger Joint, not very big so you may have a little wait. A good burger, sweet potato fries washed down with a Jack Black beer makes a good break from the big steaks and red wine. Lovely servers make you feel very welcome. Onion Rings were cold but that's the only... More

I specifically asked the waitress if they would cook my burger medium rare, because otherwise I'd order something else. She said yes, but the burger was medium well. Also at one point I had to wait ten minutes for a beer, and when I politely asked her if it was on it's way she got huffy. The cheese fries were... More

Located close to the waterfront and the Cape Town stadium, Hudsons had great burgers and was buzzing with activity and chatter. Also had a great selection of craft beers. Definitely a place I would visit again.

Hudsons drew its inspiration from America styled diners but with a modern twist... Black and copper Tom Dixon lights, leather booths, mounted animal horns and New York city street maps. It sets the tone for your urban consumer with its raw wooden tables and old-school chairs, a novel space where ideas and trends emerge over gourmet burgers and ingenious flavored milkshakes (salted caramel, lindt brownie, home-made fudge). Beer and burger, go hand in hand-literally! Each burger has a story, its ingredients, name and recipe are all hand selected and perfected by the owner, Ross and David. It is simple recipe, a beef patty made with the finest cuts of beef topped with the freshest ingredients that were locally sourced. Gourmet, foodie or innovative call it what you will it's just damn good burgers topped with thought-provoking combinations that result in gastronomical mayhem in your mouth! Biltong, chill cream-cheese, bacon jam, deboned rib or cranberry jelly. If beef doesn't appeal swap it-for a chickpea / lentil, chicken or ostrich patty. And look out for the special edition-every month a burger is created and paired up with one of the thirteen listed craft beers. Home-brewed beer is a must at Hudsons; the Boilermaker is created by Ross in small batches just outside of Noordehoek. Sit down or take-away Hudsons is something you are going to want to repeat. Established in Kloof, Greenpoint and Claremont.
