Plus points: attentive staff and impressive presentations of some of the dishes (the steaming dry ice trick for the sorbet pallet quencher was certainly a crowd pleaser). Negative points: In view of the enormous price tag for the set menu (by local standards, close to the sort of price per head you would expect to pay at La Colombe), I... More

Opted for the chefs menu, one vege and one non veg. Everything on the menu tasted amazing. Too many delicious things to mention all of them but the highlights were definitely the truffle mushroom starter, the chicken curry main, the black dahl and soup course. Highly highly recommend!

My daughter and son in law booked us a table here for my farewell dinner. My son in law accidentally pushed the "Cancel" website button when we arrived (parking at the church). But we entered the restaurant three minutes later only to be told that we were not welcome, as we had cancelled. Now, I know that the Right of... More

We had the multi-course tasting menu with pairings. All the courses were well-prepared, delicious, a little underspiced to please the non-Indian crowd maybe, and the service was great.

This is not your run of the mill Indian Restaurant with the regular menu items. The service was excellent and the quality of the food exceptional. We will back on our next visit to Cape Town

As avid Indian food enthusiasts, we need to get our regular fix of Indian cuisine on our travels and this was the perfect antidote to a long trip across the Garden Route. Excellent ambience, with well crafted dishes and sumptuous Indian cooking.

We had 1 night left to organise dinner for. We booked here not expecting too much and were pleasantly surprised. Nice cocktails, excellent Biryani cooked in pastry topped pot. Excellent Ras Malai. Service very professional. Proper restaurant style seating with table cloths. Free wifi using iBahn.

What a lovely experience. The staff are very professional and friendly and they have excellent knowledge of the menu. The food was ordered by our Indian colleague so I don't remember the names so clearly. What I do know is that the spiced chops of Karoo lamb, chicken masala and the spicy paneer were divine. The meat was soft and... More

The food is very good, we love Indian food. The food is unfortunate not very spicy, but it has the Indian flavours. The price is not that expensive. We made a reservation via the concierge. I think that the reservation never arrived as the waiter looked very long to the screen of his computer, he looked worried and then brought... More

We were in New Delhi & Mumbai, this time last year & we ate in some of their best high end restaurants. Bombay Brasserie in Cape Town lives up to that standard. Regal surrounding & Michelin starred service, this place oozes class. The food we had here was amazing. Delicious tandoori chicken & lamb starters, were the best I've had... More
