For an Asian Restaurant; one would assume they would know how to prepare Phad Thai. It was basically a Noodle Stir Fry. And to charge R38.00 for Veg String Rolls is a bit excessive. Restaurant smells like old oil. Lacks Ambiance.

Found this place here on TripAdvisor and found the reviews to be mixed. We went anyway and had a lovely time. We had the duck spring rolls, Mongolian seafood stir fry and the Thai sesame chicken. It was absolutely amazing. The food was good, service...More

We had a birthday dinner. The service was friendly. I ordered a delicious interesting mocktail. To start we had a mixed platter with the usual springrolls, tempura prawns and satay. I must say though when it was the asian kitchen the food was a lot more...More
We recently visited Chef Pon's Asian kitchen. We had a cross section of meals which average but not great. Liked the fact that they offered Singha Beer but not that it came in a lipstick covered glass. Service ok, nothing wow.
Best Asian food! Even if we don't have enough time for a sit down, we will order from chef pons. Love this Asian food
I have eaten at Chef Pon's before and the food was always good quality. My last visit in February 2017 was disappointing to say the least. The service was average and the food was poor quality. This restaurant needs a reboot.
We went there and ate starter and main course. Unfortunately we were under the impression that the sauces tasted like cheap one's out of bottles. E.g. Chicken Satay with peanut sauce. I missed the peanut taste. The Chicken Sweet and Sour tasted like tomato sauce....More
