The place was packed when we came (a Monday at 12.00) and we had a summertime salad which was very good but the caesar chicken sandwich was average. Fresh juices really good but we had to wait quite longtime before being served.

We accidentally thought this was a take-out only place because we first saw the window - where you have full access to the delicious pastries and coffee drinks. They also have a full-service cafe that faces the corner. The drinks are all espresso based (and delicious) and sandwiches are served after 11am.

Mince pie in November, I felt uneasy. I needn't have worried. Excellent tea, fab cortado coffee and delicious mince pie. Simple and perfect. R70 for two. Great value

I've always loved eating at Jason's, and when my brother came to visit, I decided to treat him to the best. The service was quick and everyone is always kind and smiling, but I go there solely for the food... Breakfast at Jason's is the best way to start the day!

I visit the hatch for coffee and take away treats, which are always delightful, every single time I pass their store - Definitely one of my favourites!

This place is always packed full of customers. Breakfast was delicious. Big fan of the quinoa salad. Flat white heaven.

Visited as this place as it was Cape Towns hyped bakery. But it turned out to be more try hard NYC bakery than delectable parisian pastries. If you do want a choice you have to be there early as there are still plenty of people out to try the hyped bacon croissant and cronut special - just doubt they come... More
