We had a perfect experience at Haas Coffee. We arrived about a half hour before they were closing for the day, and our server said the kitchen was closed. We asked if we could have any snack food, and she came back and said the chacuterie board was available. We ordered it, along with coffees. Everything was excellent; I only... More

Took a client her for breakfast. Solid food, enjoyed by everyone. Mine was an omelette with thick chunky farm break and grated cheese. Excellent. My client had a massive everything which I thought he would battle to finish. Service is ok'ish and the seating a bid strange. But good fun. Will be back.

The coffee was strong, the food was good (I had scrambled egg breakfast with salmon), but not amazing, and the decor very interesting. I'd recommend it for the location (next door to District Six Museum and Fugard theatre) and decor.

We love it here and have tried most of the coffee shops in town. The service is amazing and a special mention to Talent for his great coffee as the best barista in town. He oozes the relaxed no effort ambience of the place. The food is great here too. The girls do a wonderful job. The oatmeal is delicious... More

We had a decent sandwich in the sun outside. We waited sort of a long time and got almost what we ordered (wrong bread), but after waiting that long, we just ate our sandwiches.

Haas gives you the feeling of relaxing at home in your favourite spot. They have great teas and coffee and their lunch time specials are amazing. The service is awesome and they don't hover over you. They give you space and you can enjoy the atmosphere, read a book and get some work done. Its a great place for a... More

Fell upon this amazing coffee shop after visiting District 6 Museum. Decided to have lunch -chefs special: prawn and calamari wrap with tabbouleh creamy humus and rocket. It came with a side salad and when first delivered we thought we could have easily shared (generous serving) but on the first mouthful so pleased we didn't as we devoured every delicious... More

We had ordered and paid for a pot of tea, coffee and a cold drink at the counter then had to wait a long time for them. What's more when they arrived we were given a bill to pay! Aside from this blunder, this place is quirky and a nice place to gather - a pity it only has one... More
