Great frozen marguerites and nice food. Just a pity one must walk through the clouds of cigarette smoke from the outdoor area to get in and out the restaurant.

Being going here for quite a few years and it was a favorite! However our visit on the 31 st was disappointing. Service was lackluster, whole place seemed grimy and tacky, flies everywhere and food was okay! Not up to the normal standards we look forward to on our visits. This might drop of our list of must visit when... More

Good mecican food. Cheaply prepared and oily nonetheless good. Place is very dirty though. If you want a bar good. Not a great family spot

The Fat Cactus in Mowbray never disappoints! Always a fun evening out whether on a date night or girls night on the town! The service can be a bit iffy sometimes but the food is always great and so is the vibe. Mix up your margaritas and be SURE to try the GINGERBREAD TEQUILA! Even if tequila is not your... More

I will start by saying that the service was good; drinks arrived quickly, as did the food, and the waitress was very friendly. I would say that this is a great place to visit if you're already drunk and wanting something to soak up the alcohol, but otherwise it's hard to excuse the grimy tables and overly greasy food. All... The Fat Cactus has some decent pub food, reasonably priced drinks and a good atmosphere. Would recommend their cocktails.

Great Mexican food in the middle of an African country. Frozen margaritas. Extra long happy hour (12-6pm). The tacos were incredible and huge!

Mojitos bland, tacos no spice, please guys focus more on beverage and food quality. And what happened to the spicy bean soup?
