This was our first lunch at Jordan Restaurant and it certainly won't be the last! The views are spectacular, the flavours sublime and the staff both attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. It was difficult to choose between the dishes but I finally settled on the Caramalised...More

I arranged a dinner at Jordan for 15 people. They went out of their way to accommodate my young children and served an awesome meal with great wine. Well Done

Food service took hours literally (we had a reservation), it took away valuable time from our one an only day to see the Cape wine country. Flies in the cheese room also not so pleasant, and our wine glasses were not refilled in all the...More

is that they're so enamoured of themselves that they can't smell their cooking any more. we went there with a big party, but chefs orders were that the tables could not be put together because it would "interfere with service". Ok, wow, he must be...More

One of the first signature chef restaurants in the Cape Winelands, the Jordan Restaurant with George Jardine brings top chef George Jardine’s brand of contemporary fare from city to country. The focus on the flavours of locally sourced, seasonal ingredients is evident from his kitchen vegetable and herb garden to wine barrel fish smoker and wood-fired oven. Expect smoky, smouldering country flavours in simple combinations on a contemporary plate – with signature smoked yellowtail, steamed Saldanha mussels, seared ribeye and springbok potroast. The main ingredient is enhanced by smoked garlic, aubergine, fennel, prune or potato puree. A trip to the walk-in cheese room to select your own board of artisanal Cape farm cheeses with preserves and breads rounds off a spectacular meal. Vintages from Jordan Wine Estate form the cornerstone of the restaurants wine list.
