We call into the Lotus whenever we pass by Candi dasa on the way to visiting places further on. It doesn't look too flash from the roadside, but when you get inside you will be impressed by the size, service and spaciousness. The food is tasty and reasonably priced and we have always stuck to Indonesian dishes which we have... More

Lovely view over the ocean and very clean restrooms. I chose the wrong (for me) main - the suckling pig. Inedible. We also had Bintang beer (bottled) with grapefruit or lime. Very refreshing and not available in all restaurants. But the highlight was the banana fritter dessert - wonderful. Accompanied with 3 little dishes of melted chocolate with mint, creamy... More

Even though it's advertised as wood fired pizza, when we got there we chose to share entree size meals of calamari, spring rolls and samosa. The food was great, the staff very friendly and efficient. It's lovely to sit at your table and watch the waves roll in. Quirky bathroom entrance and the toilet paper was a full arm length... More

Al fresco tables under stylish roof combines fresh air with rain/sun protection. Service is very good. Really nice pizza, wood oven prepared with thin crispy crust. Al food lacked salt and there were only little paper salt&pepper bags which reminded us of MCD or KFC (yes we've eaten there :-) All in all a positive experience worth the half million... More

An interesting restaurant with plenty of ceramics hanging off every wall to keep you entertained if you get tired of soaking in the ocean vistas. A good menu offering a mix of Asian and Western food. Pizza's were very good and the service was fine. A little more expensive than some others but still good value.

We dined here three times over 4 days in Candidasa. 2 for lunch and once for dinner. The menu had something for everyone in our family of 4 and it was close to where we were staying which was a big plus. The veiw is really nice and good when there is a breeze too

Our driver stopped in here on the way back to our villa. Lovely stop. The food was just outstanding and the service was excellent. View was delightful. The meal was expensive for Bali but compared to Australia, it was exceptional.

This restaurant may very well be the best placed in Candidasa, and it has great Indonesian and Wetsern menus. The collection of ceramics on display is also very interesting, and the wood fired pizza oven (if you must have pizza in Bali) produces pretty damned good pizza.

our driver dropped us off there in torrential rain, they welcomed us warmly, two very wet customers, the food that was delivered melted in your mouth. subtle flavours not heavy chilli as we had experienced in other venues, this was quality, I started with a tofu dish that was so light and pleasing, then fish that had the taste of... It's a nice view from a very dull restaurant. Less than six others dining, staff hovering and bored. Overcooked food lacking in presentation. We both had loose stomachs in the morning. Dreary artefacts everywhere reduced the ambiance further. Superb location and view, average restaurant.
