First time here. Didn't like the picanha and the beans were hard. Also the sangria wasn't good. It's a pity...

We went here three times in our three day stay in Tomar. They have daily specials for about 7 euros. Everything we tried was delicious. Wine was good. English spoken. Welcoming staff. Pretty restaurant. Central location by the river.

Great food and nice options. Affordable day specials. However you can find amazing optinos fo the Portuguese cuisine. We ate the best Bacalhau na Broa ever!

This was recommended by our local guide when we made a brief stop in Tomar on our way to Lisbon. Food was exceptional - authentic, local, simple and filling. We both ordered the codfish special and it was the most delicious meal we had throughout our entire trip which is saying a lot. We went to some fancy (and not... More

We visit Tomar half a dozen times a year and most of the time this is where we eat. Nicely placed on the banks of the Nabão river you can choose to eat outside on the esplanade. They have various the plates of the day that are differente everyday (suckling pig, octupus, cod fish, roast goat, cozido, etc...) or you... More

If you want authentic food, great service outstanding local wine head for this great Tavern. The staff go above and beyond friendly and helpful even helping us poor Brits to find parking and an English speaker at the Post office. The food is wonderful, Robson Green would have felt proud of the specimens served up, and the octopus must have... More

We had a nice relaxed dinner and the service was just how we like it, not rushed. The food was very good and they had some different menu choices to the general portuguese restaurants as well as old favourites. We would visit again. A plus that it opens on a Monday evening.

We (couple) went there on a 30°C day after a long visit for lunch, got a table quickly but that was the only thing quick in this restaurant. 15min to take our order, another 20min to bring a beer and a bottle of water and after 15-20min more waiting, I decided to leave. One star as they didn't make me... More
