One evening when we arrived in BA, we had to have some dinner. It was late but Lalo was still open and had a table outside. Friendly older staff guided us through the menu and we could start our dinner. Big plates tasty meat and very good wine! Good value for money!!

The first enjoyment was sitting outside! Beautiful setting with good staff & patrons! Everyone was pleased. Then of course the food! We had the Lomo(300p) which was a good/thick size, Bife de Chorizo(270p) which was good size also, but not thick, Milanesa "veal" Ternera(160p), Cooked Mollejas "entrails-intestines"/potatoes/gravy(270p), water/pop(35p), French "papa fritas" fries(70p), cubierto "silverware/bread fee"(20p@). They offered a 10% discount... More

I recommend this restaurant. The steaks are huge and very professionally done. Take the beef chorizo with aibergine and eggs. Fantastic! Wine and drinks are reasonably priced. The beef ribs are very well done and huge portion. The service is fast and very welcoming. The garden area is nice.

On my last day in Buenos Aires, I dragged some friends on a walk, looking around looking for a good steak, and I was not disappointed when I ended up at Lalo. Not only was the steak tender and perfectly cooked, but we were also impressed at how many options there were on the menu; my vegetarian friends found several... More

Halo was across the road from our Hotel (Europlaza) and it was a perfect place. Once off the sidewalk you could be forgiven for thinking you were dining in a lush rain forest with greenery everywhere. We were surprised by the ambiance and just loved it. We thoroughly enjoyed the food; and service was excellent.

Skip breakfast or lunch and when you get there skip the bread as well!!!! Then try the best Mollejas (sweetbreads) in BA... Order it off the Parrilla for a crisp texture but beware they do another mollejas in (salsa) sauce which although nice is not as tasty as the grilled ones! We also tried Riñones (kidneys) off the Parrilla which... More

This was our favorite restaurant in Buenos Aires! The waiters are very friendly, the food is superb, the prices are reasonable and the area is a lot of fun, with a couple of theaters and some shops around it.
