If you want to hace a quick luch or dinner and eat awesome meat, this is absolutely the one! Go, have a seat in the bar, facing the grill (don't expect nothing fancy, this is a place which opened many years ago and still remains with the same furniture because... there's no need to change that). Order: 1a- a meat... More

"Los platitos" offers great "parrillada argentina" and typical dishes as Matambre, provoleta, salads and just any kind of cut you can imagine. Very family-like place, preserves the food, attention and simple food you will love to taste in Buenos Aires!

Decent food but very poor value. A restaurant that serves what they term a "complete salad" (ensalada "completa") but is out out red beets and out of onions on a Saturday night, is a restaurant in trouble. The provoletas were very good. The french fries were very good. The bife de chorizo was very good but extremely expensive. I have... More

This is one of the Historical PArrillas in Costanera Norte. It´s been here forever... I love to seat and eat at the tables but more still "en la Barra" so you can see the Cook "Parrillero" at work over the grill...you once have to leave the experience of sharing your meal in the company of the cook.... you will enjoy... It doesn't make the Argentinian meat look the best... it has too many fat and it's real hard. Even though it isn't really pricey, it's not worth to spend your money there.

This is the place where you'll find the best sirloin sandwich in the city, known is spanish as "sandwich de lomito or just lomito". You can sit at the tables or you just sit on the bar stools next to the grill, which is fun to watch! The restaurant is not fancy whatsoever, but the meat is fantastic!

We tried different restaurant at first, but the demand was overwhelming the owner, so we decide to go back to this place, that we use... More

I was there late in the evening with one of my Argentine colleagues and found this places packed - we had to sit at the bar but at the end it was better, this way we could have our food served faster and had the chance to see how it is actually grilled. Here I had one of the best... More

Very authentic Argentinian restaurant, great parrilla. I had the "Asado de Cuadril", never had it before and was very nice. Great service, but that white incandescent lighting is a bit annoying.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
