Buller is a typical beer pub. They have a bar and lots of tables full with young people in after office parties. They produce their own beer and have a wide variety of lager and ale types. Food is very basic, hamburgers, sandwiches, pizzas, salads, etc. Service is also basic. However, if you want just to drink beer and like... More

Staff were friendly enough, my wife's burger was fill of gristle and my wings and onion rings were average at best

This pub is a good place for a beer. The list extensive and they do taste good! The service is oke and the seats could be bkit more comfy, but then again it's a pub. The wine is not their strongest point.

My other half had the beer tasting board followed by a pint of his favourite. The bar man was really friendly & helpful, happy to give advice & information about them. I had a nice glass of wine. We shared an appetiser that was OK, but quite greasy. Definitely go for the beer but perhaps eat elsewhere.

Loved this brew pub. The beer was fantastic. I especially liked the honey one. I sat at the bar and the regulars and the bartender made me feel welcome. The bartender knew plenty of English and they also had a menu in English, so communication was not a problem. The burger and fries were great and HUGE!. The place is... More

A brew pub with lots of good beers. My wife had excellent vodkas. The only problem I have with the place is they are showing MTV or equivalent on the TVscreens but the music being played through the speakers is completely different, but if you like your beer this is the place.

Lots of people come here for the beer as it's a micro brewery. I'm not a big beer drinker but have a preference for Belgian beers as they tend to have distinct flavours and are much better than the normal draft beers. I have to say though that having tried 4 of the beers brewed here that my preference hasn't... More

Service was pretty good, nothing spectacular. Their honey beer is actually amazing, and the IPA was pretty good as well. The others were good, and traditional. Nice patio, right next to the famous Recoleta cemetery.

when you get tired of lagers, and who doesn't, then come here and try the sampler. the stout and ipa were on par with good US craft beers, which is saying something.

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
