We came here with a big group of 15-18 people. It was a mess getting all the tables but the wait was worth it. The food is very good and the service implacable. Of course you must have meat! The Mollejas are great to start with followed by some meat selection (3 different cuts in one plate). That's what I... More

Based on the rating in TripAdvisor I thought that El Pobre Luis would be the best parrilla ever. I couldn't be more ambitious. The fact that they proclaim a parrilla Argentina and they don't offer Vacio, oh man. If they are clever they should close their business right away. And I didn't forgot to talk about the price. This is... More

El Pobre Luis is a typical Argentinian "parrilla", with a good prestige, always full (if you plan to go make reservations). Our experience with my family this week was in general terms good, but I expected more. The "provoleta" (traditional grilled cheese) had no taste, my daughter asked for grilled salmon and they were our of salmon. The "asado de... More

Decorated with fútbol stuff, the atmosphere here is unique and the food is GREAT! Hosts make you feel at home so you want to come back. I hope I do, because I really enjoyed it!

This restaurant was highly rated and we found out why. It wasn't easy to make a booking (as we don't speak Spanish), but we turned up anyway at 8pm and were given a table, and we weren't disappointed. In fact it was outstanding. We had an excellent meal, with really great service, in a very enjoyable environment, and for a... More

I make an effort to stop here every time I am in Buenos Aires. The ribeye steak is amazing. Nice atmosphere and you can watch the meat on the grill as you eat.

... sounds like a strange combination - but it works. There are many football lovers coming to Buenos Aires to see the Bombonera or River Plates. Why not going after a good match to place where football is number one together with the food they offer ... ? On certain evenings you must make a reservation, otherwise you have to... More

It is the best in Argentina? I dont think so, but it is very good. My second visit was not as good as the first one. Second time beef was less than juicy..almost raw inside and the medium was more than that. Chorizo (sausage) was overcooked but still good. Sweetbreads were excellent. Wine is expensive and expect to pay around... More

Staying in Belgrano

Neighbourhood Profile
Belgrano
As one of the main commercial hubs of Buenos Aires, Belgrano has something for everyone. The myriad of shop windows in Cabildo Ave. will draw you in, but it is Chinatown — an area of no more than two square blocks — which will keep you hooked. Crowned by an ornate arch marking its entrance and filled with small stores packed to the brim, it is a place where colour and scent emanate from every corner, particularly during the Chinese New Year when they spill over to surrounding areas. But if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, the residential quarter of Belgrano is the perfect destination. This section of town features some of the most magnificent mansions in the city, spread out on cobbled streets lined by tall, majestic trees: a true feast for the eyes.
