If you're aftering good empanadas look no more. This place will fix you up nicely. Price is cheap. Ignore the environment and service but just focus on the empanadas. It's worth it.

It is esy to miss theis small restaurant from the street. It looks like an old fashioned luncheonette from the 1950s. The place looks a bit run down. However the empanadas are fresh and excellent. The owner is quite friendly. This is mostly a place for localsand so is a nice break from tourist oriented restaurants.

We went looking for the best empanadas, the place is very small, not as clean as should be and the quality of the empanadas that you want to forget. DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME!

I went with my wife and son because the place is in the book of famous buenos aires bodegones but we had to leave because my son was about to throw up because of the smell of rank grease, nevertheless we bought some empanadas which turned out so so... i will never go back

Just arrived in BA today for another long stay. Not in the mood to "fine dine", we walked over to Na Serapia and ordered empanadas for the two of us. Two carne.......one jamon.......one cebollo y queso....really "hit the spot". We've done take-out here numerous times, but since we haven't been back in 2 years, we actually forgot the deliciousness of... More

A place used by local and tourists that find it via word of mouth or trip advisor. Food was all freshly made and tasted very good. Place looks like you have stepped back in time, but worth seeking out

Great Empanadas and a decent copa Malbec for AR$45. Amazing deal and really tasty food. Loved the place. I'll go back and try some other stuff.

We were returning from the library when we saw the little door in front of Plaza Las Heras, the place is pretty small and not attractive but they have the best empanadas I ever had in my entire life (and believe me, I like empanadas!). We had meat (with eggs), chicken, cheese and corn empanadas and all of them were... More

Small and very Buenos Aires. The empanadas are perfect, the tamales as well. Authentic Argentine food with interesting decor, it's small but totally worth it. Great characters too!

Don't be put off by this place. It's definitely a whole in the wall joint, but the service is fast and the place is filled with locals. I wanted to try their locro. Given that it was my first time eating locro, I didn't quite have a reference to how it should taste, so it was fine. Their empanadas were... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
