Great exciting and diverse menu for our first night out in BA. We had mullet with avocado mousse and a gremolata of peanut and sesame. Also chard and corn stuffed ravioli, a tomato and pickled beet salad, and a good bottle of wine. Came to Sixty dollars with tip. We're going back for our last dinner.

I had a nice evening here. It's loud, so the server got part of my order wrong because I think she couldn't hear me - and they only take cash - and they did not have chimmichurri - which was disappointing! BUT... the food was delicious! I had the Ojo de Bife - with a salad and potatoes and I... More

It was our last night in Buenos Aires and we had spent most of our cash, hoping we could pay by credit card. When we arrived, there were 2 tables free, but due to technical problems we were told that only cash was accepted so we went for an ATM. After 10 min we returned to the restaurant only to... More

Cozy little restaurant in Palermo. Went with the wife, she ordered the sucking pig, I had the veal. Just sublime, the meat is so tender and a the wonderful assortment of sauces and flavours to boot. Friendly staff and a decent wine list.Get down here.

A fun, hip, unpretentious place with a brief menu. We had a salad, a fish dish, and a pasta dish, and all three dishes were splendid. The waiter had good advice for us as wine dorks who are not familiar with the various brands/bottlings they had and steered us towards what we wanted. All in all, a splendid meal and... More

We started with the shrimp and eggplant, very nice. I had the suckling pig, soooo very good. Highly recommended. My partner had the leg of lamb, very tasty. The service was fine, a bit inattentive. Atmosphere pretty basic. A good dinner at a reasonable price. Not Argentinian food, but so good.

Lovely atmosphere, great and unique food for the city (not your typical dishes). Everything was delicious and the spot is cozy.

We felt so lucky discovering this place on the last night of our stay in Buenos Aires. Every dish was so tasty, I was tempted to lick the plates :-) I also thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere - lots of people from the neighborhood enjoying great conversations over wine. The wine selection offers great options. Everything is reasonably priced. And the... More

We ended up visiting las pizarras on our last night in BA and what a treat. After the pretentiousness of don Julio's right up the street it was so nice to come to a place that was authentically about great food and ambiance. We were recommended a delicious wine, the octopus appetizer was still being remembered days afterwards and the... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
