The four seasons La Mansion is a great hotel located right in the heart of town walking distance to everything the downtown has to offer from street side cafes to up scale steak houses and a wonderful little empanada paradise called el San juanino The rooms were elegant and spacious the breakfast selection was just amazing form cured meats to... The food was really good and quite wide ranging and eclectic for a group of nearly 200 of us. It was spread across multiple rooms and outside and the service, the bar service and the food were just superb. It doesn't hurt that the venue is also quite stunning and ornate in a very contemporary kind of way.

I have been to many Four Season Hotels over the world (including Parklane & George V Paris), while not always staying overnight but enjoying splendid dinners or afternoon teas in the cozy comfort of their luxurious atmosphere. Staying in Buenos Aires over the holidays, with all cafes and almost all restaurants closed, we were turning to the Four Season Hotel... More

I think their master plan is to trick you into eating brunch here by putting the dessert buffet out front. Desserts were HARD to wait for. My DH loved the cow tongue and the pomegranate/radish salad. I loved the octopus and the range of random meats. The kids were trying really hard not to be picky but it was too... More

We were invited by clients and we really enjoy the dinner. Both meat and fish dishes were fine. Prices are expensive but ok respect to quality and environment

We loved our suite in the mansion section of the hotel. The rooms were large and beautiful and service was excellent. Only complaint is service at the restaurant, which was painfully slow. This was our second time at this hotel and would definitely return.

May be the most beautiful building with a restaurant in Buenos Aires. The food isn't perfect, but the service and the place are great.

The Hot Oysters and the chargrilled beef were Yummy. Good service and buzzy atmosphere from Buenos Aires Creme de la Creme crowds. They Tango just right.

Except for the location and terrace the restaurant was a disappointing experience. Unprofessional staff who was uninterested in their customers. At 8.:30pm 2 dishes (out of 10 main courses) were not available anymore. Quality and quantity of the presented food insufficient. The meat wasn't served according to our request. On our remark, no,proper action taken. Inside the restaurant loud music,... More

Description
When we went to the Four Season hotel to ask about the brunch they told us to keep walking on Posadas Street for a few metres to reach the "La Mansión". So we did and entered a place showing this exact name. It being part of the Four Seasons hotel.

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
