My husband and I ate here one night in while in Buenos Aires. We had been dining out at very nice restaurants over the course of our long trip, and wanted something unpretentious, quick, and delicious. Also, we wanted to eat "right now" at 7pm, where most restaurants don't even open until 8:30 or later. Enter La Fabrica. We saddled... More

Saw this place on TripAdvisor and tried it out. We have been twice and plan on going back. Tacos, burrito and guacamole are great. They have tortas and quesadilla, as well as vegetarian options. It's basic delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Ignore the bad ratings. This place is the real deal. Excellent tacos, nachos and quesadillas. Great hot sauce. I order a large margarita and somehow got a pitcher. Interesting flavor, not my fav but got the job done.

Went here for lunch to get away from steak, pizza and empanadas (this is Argentina!). The decor is typical from what you get in many Mexican restaurants (lively music and garish colors) but was nonetheless original and hip with very good vibe. The owner came over to chat briefly and the service is quick and courteous. The food is not... More

super nice taco's! I went here a lot. The menu is fun, so you can customize your whole meal (don't forget to add guacemole, it is good!) The frozen margarita is a recomendation.

God bless this tacos factory for their commitment to finding the chilis and bringing the heat. I liked the chicken tacos best, but the pastor was very strong. Good corn tortillas, but not double layered which is ok with me. They even serve them on little papers over plastic plates. I would have loved to see little scoops of white... More

Best quesadilia I've had to date. I had the corn quesadilia with chicken. Comes with peppers, onion, cheese and pancetta but I asked for the pancetta to be removed as I don't eat pork. It is small though so if you're hungry order two! The nachos were nice too, the cheese is runny (I prefer grated) but beyond that all... More

The place is nicely and lively decorated. Service is super nice and fast. If you're looking for an easy meal near Plaza Serrano this is the place for you. Note: the salsa picante is not that spicy!

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
