A tiny little spot with very fresh sushi and a wonderful selection of all types of raw and cooked fish. Had an all salmon selection and of course our favorite salmon skin roll as well. All fresh and delicious. Splurge on the dessert medley it has four desserts and is really good. Enjoyed our meal here very much!

Buenos Aires is known for beef, pastas, pizzas and their fantastic gelato/icecream and not their seafood. That said, Tenkuu is the best sushi my wife and I have had in Argentina. We've tried sushi at about 6 different restaurants in this city over the last 10 years and this is the best of them. PROs: ask the sushi chef to... More

I went a few months ago. Asked for the most expensive wine in the list. They brought the bottle, I tried it, and it way gone, super acid, undrinkable. They said I would have to pay for it anyway, took the bottle away and brought a different wine I ordered. Drinkable, barely. I asked for the Original bolttle, yo empty... More

I'll go straight to what you need to know: The food is excellent, as is the attention. Make sure you make a reservation, as the place is small (cozy) and will fill up pretty quick, even in the middle of the week. I live in Buenos Aires, so it's not just the one random sushi place i went to.

I enjoyed every morsel. We chose the pescado blanco, Inca roll and ebi with panko crumbs, and topped it off with the desert degustation and cafe con leche - the brownie was divine! The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the service was quality too.

Amazing sushi - some truly unique yet delicious specials. Make a reservation, we nearly didn't get in because we hadn't. The wine cellar is a surprising must to see if you can... Fantastic drinks!

in this sushi place they pay a lot of attention to detail so that your evening becomes a special candle-lit event, in a cool atmosphere with a soft soundtrack of jazz standards. It is advisable to make a reservation if you don’t want to lose your chance to visit Tenkuu because it only has 16 seats between a handful of... More

I visited Tenkuu with my wife after reading the reviews on Trip advisor. Whilst the sushi was OK it was nothing special and definately not worth going out the way to visit. Sushi was on the expensive side for UK/US prices and thus very expensive for BA. Tiny setting with only 6-8 tables and the take away team walking in... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
