I usually like the food at TGI Fridays but at this location, the service was very slow and pretty average food for the prices.

It was late due to woeful baggage handling delays at Ezeiza and after a full day of airline snacks we needed to kick back with a light meal. Fridays is adjacent to Recoleta Mall and its alfresco seating under a huge tree is what we needed. Our waitress was excellent and my wife’s glass of vino tinto was huge (picture).... More

You never go to tgi fridays with really high expectations but you expect average food and service that will not give you any trouble. Even though the expectations weren't high, i can tell you that there was nothing good about it. The service was terrible, the staff was so unexperienced and rude, the food came cold and it took so... It supposed to be a good restaurant, but the food is horrible, the waiters are slow, the food takes too long to be served. Not recommended, don't waste your time and money.

This restaurant seemed to have decor and menu similar to USA Fridays. The food was good, just what one would expect at a TGIF. The location is really good.

TGI is a mandatory stop everywhere I find it, and it's used to be here in Buenos Aires too. Unfortunately, our last experience was very mediocre. From the mediocre Mai Tai I ordered (that tasted like a Tequila Sunrise with 80% water) to the appetizers, it was very disappointing. The entree was little better but not great (Jack Daniel's chicken... More

Being from Buenos Aires myself, I find this american food chain to be quite overpriced for the quality of the food that you get. The service wasn't great either. It's an ok place to go if you're in the mood for a burger and you're in the Recoleta area.

I've never left a bad review before but was genuinely shocked by this place! It stunk of cheese/vomit, the floor was filthy and the staff were rude and ignored us. We sat ourselves down, waited 10 minutes and then decided it was too horrible to stay. Also there was a child in there going from table to table begging and... More

It's a nice TRI Friday's branch with nice interior design. Spacious with nice ambiance/ music. If you go during happy hour (early evening around 6 or 7) you'll get 2 for 1 for the starter. We ordered 4 starters, 3 of them was good, was only disappointed with their onion rings which were a bit tasteless and came without dipping... More

First thing on entering door was an overwhelming odour of cheese ... and not in any good way. Food was nothing, help didn't really care that I was there, and restroom was via and upstairs maze of stair cases. If you were hoping for a little US while in BA, don't go there.

Thank Kevin K

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
