Good sandwiches. Nice place and vibe. The classical one is excellent for everybody who is going for the first time.

I would say New Orleans is in my top 5 favorite cities in the United States . The culture, the music, the flavors, the energy, it's electric (and not just during Mardi Gras). When one of my new expat friends here in BsAs invited me for drinks and chicken waffles at one of her favorite spots in Palermo, I could... More

I don't eat chicken, but my boyfriend does. So, we visited Nola and the experience was super good. It is a small place, most of the time super crowded (because of the small space) but it is totally worthy. Despite this, they attend super fast. Have good craft beer. And the chicken is New Orlean style. Super crunchy outside and... More

If you're looking for that elusive local hangout that's cool, affordable and away from any tourist trap, NOLA is it. We ended up there after a long bike ride with a friend and kept coming back for more. Mostly, the laid back atmosphere, great drinks and locally brewed beers but certainly for the Fried Chicken sandwich that is the best... More

Stumbled across this place which was a great little sunny spot for an afternoon beverage. Lots of interesting hip people coming and going and the people working there were really friendly. We had the IPA which were $5,5 during happy hours. We also shared fried chicken and gumbo between two which was plenty as both were tasty and rich. Food... More

Nice place in the middle of a quiet neighbourhood to go chilling on the afternoon. Good beer, clean restrooms. Few tables outside, though everybody sit in the street. Food not that good.

Went to Nola with a large group the afternoon of Christmas Eve! After a week-long affair with beef, we were craving some great chicken and an IPA. The fried chicken and waffles were given a definitive thumbs up by many in our group. The vegetarians present enjoyed the red beans and rice and biscuits immensely which were just a tad... More

The fried chicken is amazing. Crunchy greatness. The sweat tea was as good as grandmas. If you want good food from the south come here. 👵

The best fried chicken place in BA. A tiny little restaurant that isn't immediately noticeable but thanks to a recommendation we found it, and loved it!

2 blocks from our AirBnB in Palermo Soho. Was on the list of places we assembled prior to our 2-week visit. Did not disappoint. Off the beaten track, but well worth seeking out. Fried chicken was authentic and very well done. Gumbo was unworldly. I'm fan of gumbo and if you are, you know the variations on the theme are... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
