I have always loved Le Pain Quotidian, but in BA I doubly appreciated the place. If you are not into local food, and want to eat something that is at once, tasty, healthy and filling, then Le Pain Quotidian is the place to go. Their quinoa salad is delicious, and they serve great hot chocolate. I have been to both... More

Close to MALBA and reasonably priced salads and sandwiches. Nice mint lemonade too! Spinach salad, meat sandwich and curry chicken all enjoyed. Thanks

Expect less variety in Argentina due to the reduced range of vegetable and fish variety they have. Whatever you eat here is the best quality you can get in of that dish in the city. They are always a little short of staff, and the waiters/waitresses are very kind/polite, and do their best to satisfy your requests. As opposed to... More

Came in for lunch between the japanese garden and the MALBA. Delicious soups and honestly the best TWO salads I've EVER had. One with goats cheese, the other with roast chicken, avocado, etc. Already strategizing how to come back. FANTASTIC FIND!

I went today for a quick lunch, looking for a burrata that I had eaten last summer. However, it wasn't in the menu anymore. Instead, they offer half mozzarella piece with some tapenade. For $98 pesos, I reckon they should serve a whole piece and a decent presentation. I wonder if the chef ussually gets half 'bife the chorizo' when... More

I really like the hummus avocado sandwich there and often buy bread which they precut. They also have freshly squeezed take-away juices that are delicious and brownies that I bring friends as a present ( unless I eat them myself). Very cosy atmosphere.

I like this place. The communal table is so lovely as the decorations. The food is good and the staff nice.

Don't be dissuaded from asking for a table if the place looks packed. We nearly walked on by as there appeared to be no space, however it's like a tardis and there are tables in the rear and also in the courtyard. The tea and pastries we had were truly delicious and every plate of food that passed us looked... More

I really liked this restaurant. It was a bit noisy and crowded during lunch, and taking my order took a while. But the food was very tasty and service was friendly.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
