The food at the restaurant was good. They had wifi as well. There was a little mix up at the end with the bill on whether the water was included or not which did leave a little disatisfaction.

Had a wonderful dinner here on our first night in Buenos Aires. The premier cut of ribeye steak was amazing – more like a filet mignon than ribeye. The potatoes Au Gratin were delicious as well as the grilled vegetables. The house Malbec wine was a delicious full-bodied wine with wonderful cherry, plum and berry notes. Wonderful dinner here in... More

This is the brother (or sister) restaurant to Piegari, the Italian restaurant across the street. The restaurant is elegant and the service was polite, but slow. Lots of families were dining there on Christmas Day. The creamed spinach was the best we've ever had, and my steak was very good.

I think that this restaurant took advantage of our group of 7. We had a fixed menu from our private tour company which was to include sweetbreads as an appetizer...they gave us black pudding sausage! Hardly a substitute. Then the steak was sirloin horrible and tough. I would never ever go here again. I think that they cheated us intentionally.... More

Nice but have your wallet ready, I guess to survive they are bringing buses loaded with Tourists at bargain price for them but not for the regulars.

We went to this restaurant twice during our stay in Buenos Aires. On both occasions the meal was excellent, the service was exceptional, the price good. The atmosphere perfect. Strongly recommended.

A group of 6 went after a long haul flight. The Sofitel managed to arrange a table for us at 10pm on a Friday night. We were warmly welcomed, and given a private room adjacent to the main dining room. Awsome spot! The steak (T Bone) was truly majestic and I've eaten steak trust me. TO cook 850g which is... More

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
