Near the Iglesia San Francisco you can taste the delicious empanadas in Salta Province. In addition, a range of traditional dishes on the menu, you can also try goat. The atmosphere is excellent, but busy. After 21:00 it is quickly fully booked.

The place was very busy but despite that the service was good and attentive. Great local dishes, I had bife de chorizo and that was excellent

Very nice place for dinner. The best steak we've eaten during our Argentina trip. Bife the chorizo, was excellent.

The place was very busy but despite that the service was good and attentive. However, the food was only average and not a place I would visit again. The chips were dripping with oil and the meat was quite bland.

Multiple small rooms, good for single or group dining. Great local dishes, Tamales and Lucro soup/stew!

Came here with low expectations because of a couple of reviews on here but I enjoyed it. The carne empanadas was one of the best we have had in the last 5 weeks travelling through south America. Definitely recommend. Chicken and tamales were good too!

Nice restaurant serving local food like empanadas and meat dishes and some pasta. We had empanadas and bife de chorizo and can recommend both

After a bad start when the costumed Gaucho server wanted to seat us in the complete back of the restaurant in a super dark corner but redeemed when we were seated at a better table closer to the rest of the guests, I have mixed feelings about this place. We ordered one wine which when brought to us was the... More

A taste of local cuisine. We ordered 4 different stews, and they were all delicious. The food is hearty and rustic, and packed full of flavor and texture. I especially enjoyed the goat stew with generous chunks of meat. Simple stews start at 105 pesos, going up to 180 pesos for the meaty one like the goat or rabbit. The... More

Elegant and historic place, but serves low quality food. Most of the food the waiter recommended to me was garbage-style hot pot, sort of leftovers mix. Miserable wine (Estancia Mendoza) just better stay away from it.

Thank Jaroslaw S
