If you are looking for a good feed that won't break your budget, this is your place. It's more of a café than a restaurant and it doesn't prepare fine dining meals. It does provide low cost, tasty meals in a, generally, very expensive town. Big plates of pasta/dumplings smothered in sauce seem to be the favoured dish with both... More

In high season you better be early or be prepared to wait. This restaurant turns out big plates at a very reasonable price. Don't expect high level cooking. When we go we always order the same, 2 suprema Nevada, papas fritas and a big soda then we share it between two adults and three children. We usually struggle to finish... More

We travel in family and found this simple place with generous plates with very good prices. It is in the middle of downtown which is very convenient. Service is good for the price. Service speed is good enough for the price. We even share the plates (1 plate to share between 1 adult and 1 child). We came back to... More

We would have eaten here again had we been in Villa La Angostura for a longer period of time. We had the trout and the milanesa. Both great.

To call this restaurant is a joke. The food is horrible. I don't know where to begin. We order spaghetti with chicken, we got some yellow unclear pipes with some red dressing ( probably tomato) and quarter of a chicken... Which I didn't want to even touch, as it was completely unappleaing. I tried to ate the yellow pipes, it... More

In a pricey area like the Lake District, it might be hard to find reasonably priced restaurants. Gran Nevada, however, is one of those places: it offers decent food for a low price. Both the pizza and parrillada were ok, especially given the low price. Another pro of this place is that it is not just packed with tourists, but... More

This is the liveliest place we found in the ash-covered town suffering from continuing volacno eruptions. Most of the customers were locals, but the waitresses were very friendly and patient with us and our poor Spanish. This was our first meal in Argentina, before we learned the main rule of eating in this country: SHARE! We ordered a salad and... More

I love Nevada, had the Trucha with Limon, one of the best fish I had in Argentina. Cooked perfectly and I loved how fast the service was...quick lunch and back to my awesome vacation~!

All round good food and friendly service; economical and large portions. It's not gourmet dining but it's filling and great value. Recommend it 100%
