The subject line tells everything .. You may rightly ask how do I know for sure that this is the case .. For two reasons .. while I was studying I worked myself in a restaurant and know the tricks of this trade .. secondly I try to order one special dish, which was the small mixed salad .. the... More

La Alpina was really fine. My husband was kinda desperate to get a fondue and they served it there. The atmosphere was ok, and we could feel it's a place with traditions. The food was very good and the price was fair.

A very decent fondue, good ambiance. Highly recommendable on a cold night. It is not the fanciest place in town, but it is a great place for having a good meal

I've never written a bad review about a restaurant or store before, but felt compelled to do so after eating dinner at La Alpina. The food is bad, really bad. Not just relative to the amazing food you can find so easily in Bariloche, but bad period. And add to this the fact that the food is more expensive here... More

This restaurant is closed to the center with nice tables, outdoor. But the price is very expensive we ate a dish for 300pesos and there were only chips.

We ate here because most restaurants open at 8, and it was just past 7 and we were hungry. The lady serving us was fantastic, but sadly the food was average and to be truthful the worst food that we had in San Carlos Bariloche. We have eaten similar food elsewhere and it has been far superior

We had cheese/garlic fondue and carne fondue, both delicious. There were 4 of us and we all ate til we were satisfied. Very good deal, compared to fondue in the US! Service was extremely slow, but it was Christmas eve, and they appeared understaffed. Hopefully it would be better on a normal day.

It is a really an average restaurant. The bife was ok, the chicken breast was breaded fried while I expected it grilled. Nothing written in the menu saying otherwise. Side fries were frozen, not home made, even if we asked for homemade ones to the server, knowing that side dises are charged. Good points, the place is nice and wooden.... More

Bariloche is full of really good restaurants, but this is not one of them. Neither my friend nor I really enjoyed our food here. It wasn't bad food, just simply okay. The atmosphere is nice. Plenty of better places to eat nearby.
